Gospel – Luke 8:1-3
1 Jesus journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God. Accompanying him were the Twelve
2 and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
3 Joanna, the wife of Herod’s steward Chuza, Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their resources.
Reflection: We see in today's gospel Jesus was entering town and villages to preach the gospel and to proclaim the good news of our salvation. With them are indicated that there were women who were cured from their illness and even some were cure from being posses by the evil spirit. What can we learn from today's gospel or what is the message of the Lord for us as His modern disciples? We can lean from the never complaining attitude of Jesus, a loving and understanding Jesus was very successful in proclaim the gospel and good new our salvation which He paid by dying on the cross.
Have great day everyone!
